RESUME
about me
Kristjan Kangro is an Estonian tech entrepreneur and public markets investor, best known for building and scaling financial platforms globally.
He launched his first company at 17, an electronics accessories venture recognised by the Estonian Prime Minister and Norwegian Crown Prince. After founding and exiting SwingBy, an automated scheduling startup in the Netherlands, Kristjan joined Singapore-based Expara Ventures as CFO, where he helped grow one of the region’s earliest fintech portfolios.
He later founded Change, a multi-asset investment platform that reached 140,000 users across 27 countries, raising over €32 million in equity and €90 million including customer assets before being acquired in 2023 by Swiss private equity firm Andromeda Capital Partners, linked to a global brokerage Tickmill Group.
Today, Kristjan is building a next-generation investment fund that combines technology and human insight to uncover long-term opportunities in public markets. Outside of work, he is passionate about golf, martial arts, and mentoring entrepreneurial communities in Singapore, Portugal, and Estonia.
